Pay what you think it’s worth – Archive Sale
How long does it take to make a garment? And how many meters of fabric do you need? How much does a button cost? Or a zip?
Garment manufacturing is very complicated and it’s not always easy to explain the value of each garment.
We decided to offer our Archive Sale with an extra twist – you can choose what you want to pay by deciding what you think the item is worth.
After purchasing an item, you will receive the exact breakdown of manufacturing and material costs via email – finding out how close you were to the correct answer.
We think it’s a great way to get your hands on some special SABINNA archive pieces while learning new things about garment manufacturing.
About this product:
Ever wondered what happens with the left over fabric and textile waste from the pattern cutting process when making your clothing?
These ‘offcuts’ usually go straight in the bin creating unnecessary waste. At SABINNA we decided to do something about it and are launching limited edition bags that are made from our own offcuts!
Alina is a cute reversible shopper that comes in bright colours, fluffy textiles or decorated with our signature SABINNA flowers.
Alina bags are mostly made out of outer wear and special occasion offcuts. This white version with hand crochet flowers comes with a removable wooden floer shape handle to accompany the bag. The crochet flowers embroidery is only on one side of the bag.
This bag is reversable.
Side 1: textured white cotton with crochet flowers
