Pay what you think it’s worth – Archive Sale
How long does it take to make a garment? And how many meters of fabric do you need? How much does a button cost? Or a zip?
Garment manufacturing is very complicated and it’s not always easy to explain the value of each garment.
We decided to offer our Archive Sale with an extra twist – you can choose what you want to pay by deciding what you think the item is worth.
After purchasing an item, you will receive the exact breakdown of manufacturing and material costs via email – finding out how close you were to the correct answer.
We think it’s a great way to get your hands on some special SABINNA archive pieces while learning new things about garment manufacturing.
About this product:
Sienna shirt is a white blouse with our signature navy print and an oversized bow detail. The blouse is button-down with long sleeves and classic shirt cuffs.
This shirt is made out of 100% Tencel, a fabric we recently introduced to our range.
Tencel is a fabric made from wood. As Tencel is produced from a renewable resource, its main benefit is its sustainability.
Besides its great ecological advantage, Tencel is a skin-friendly fabric which feels soft and comfortable on your skin. Like many other natural fabrics, Tencel possesses highly breathable properties and is lightweight in nature, making it an ideal fabric for summer clothing. As the microscopic fibrils of cellulosic fibres can manage and regulate the absorption and release of moisture from your body, Tencel is the perfect fabric for hot or cold and therefore a perfect choice for all year.
