For this year’s International Women’s Day, we have decided to collaborate with the Chilean artist Constanza Goeppinger to create a series of illustrations to brighten up homes and workspaces.
Female empowerment is one of the core values at SABINNA.
This collaboration was inspired by the many SABINNA womxn who play a big role in the motivation behind the brand.
The artist Constanza is well known for her vibrant and colourful patterns as well as empowering female silhouettes – therefore her work aligns perfectly with our focus and motives.
As part of this collaboration, Constanza created three illustrations centred around themes of empowerment, femininity and self-growth. They are available as greeting cards and prints ranging from Sizes A4-A2.
The first print titled ‘Sisters’ was inspired by and portrays the relationship between womxn close to you. It reflects on themes of community, sisterhood, support and strength. Each character in the illustration wears a selection of SABINNA garments featuring signature prints and bestselling items.
The second print ‘Let’s grow together’ was inspired by the ever increasing plant obsession of millennials as well as the seemingly endless time we all spent at home in the past year.
It’s an homage to taking care of yourself and the living beings around you as well as your mental health.
The third and final print ‘Holding Hands’ reveals the stories of female strength: The endless commitment, work, emotional labour, support and love represented by hands that lift ourselves and others up.
Unlike the other two, this illustration is more abstract and serves as a celebration and appreciation of womanhood. The signature SABINNA flower in hand underlines the delicacy of time and space that is often compromised for womxn.
